2011 Afindica: The Story of the Ethical Elephants. Appointed as illustrator. Published by Conch Press. This is my first book. I will continue with the Afindica franchise now as both writer and illustrator. I am currently writing the next eight books in the series.

Artist, Illustrator and Writer

I am a practicing Fine Artist and Illustrator since the summer of 2005 with interests in the deeper motivations of society, including William Hogarth, Greek & Roman Mythology, as well as Orthodox Russian and religious Iconography from cultures past and present. I am now a children’s books author, and will have my writing debut in early 2012.

Work & media experience



Kings Place: I DJ’d and co hosted a 7 hour pilot radio show called ‘Kings Place International’, which formed a combination of different genres of music including, Classical, Reggae, Popular music and Art Installation sounds. The show also featured interviews with international artists who were running workshops on the day ranging from digital music collaborations, Mozart fusions and poetry techniques including poetry slams.


Guardian: Afindica:Story of the Ethical Elephants is recommended as a book to purchase as the next step in child education.

2007 (August)

Bloomsbury Books; commissioned to write two chapters for Bloomsbury based on one of my characters, very positive feedback. This involved  a visit to Russia including St Petersburg, Moscow and Siberia in the summer of 2008 to research characters for the potential book


Set Design: Experience also includes assisting set designers Chiara Abrosio and Jon Revel on creative projects ranging from feature films, independent cinema, music videos and most recently “Future Cinema” Edinburgh


New York. Interned at Max Custom Media for a month in Manhattan. Created new concepts for Max Card products. Developed a “March Madness” pitch with Pontiac Automobiles.


A months paid work experience for a set building company “Theme Tech”(South London) Helping to produce pieces for The Chapman Brothers, Alton Towers, Cadbury’s and Ribena.


Researching historical books from the Renaissance and classical period including the Greek myths and legends to reading Penguin classics. Other hobbies include; Tennis, cycling, socialising, seeing exhibitions, cooking, opera concerts, singing, board games and drawing.
